The Gen2 Mainline & Lateral Inspection System performs inspections in 6” to 24” pipelines from a single, fully integrated unit. The system utilizes a pan & rotate mainline camera as well as an auto upright lateral camera with an intergraded 512 Hz sonde for locating. The new launch camera actuator allows easy insertion into 90 degree laterals and the dedicated 90 watt launch motor produces an unbelievable amount of pushing force for lateral inspections up to 100 ft from the mainline. The 6 wheel drive tractor also has a 90 watt motor with 3 forward speeds as well as reverses and freewheels and can travel at speeds up to 70 fpm.
Also included in the system is the lateral inspection cable reel with a total of 600 ft of cable (100 ft of RST push cable and 500 ft of 3/16” diameter armored Sincon cable) for easy manhole to manhole inspections and a 1500 series controller for the 1545 auto upright camera that produces high quality video to either a picture-in-picture system or a second video monitor so you always can see both camera views.
